Can Military Loans Pay for Higher Studies of My Son?

I am a retired colonel who was serving in North Carolina for the past 25 years. My son recently got admission to the undergraduate course at California Institute of Technology and whatever cash I have saved in my entire life will be spent on the tuition cost. My son is falling short of expenses to manage his living expenses and I want to know whether any kind of military loans available that can pay for the living expenses of my child for the coming 3 years.

Yes, there is a loan program for the military personnel available called Military Loans No Credit Check. You can use this loan program to pay for the living expenses of your child and the maximum amount that you can avail is up to $5,000 for every year. Before you get the loan assistance, it is imperative that your son must have secured admission in that college and it is recognized by the Department of Education in United States.

As far as the repayment of the loan is concerned, your son can make the monthly payments after six months when his studies are completed. I am not sure about the rate of interest charged which you need to ask from the lender. The loan would be made available to you and some of the documents that you need to submit are your address proof, proof of military personnel, US citizen proof and details about the educational qualifications of your son.
